Working closely with our clients, we brought their vision to life in Stardom eco-resort by seamlessly blending Armenian traditional identity with modern elements. Our goal was to create a captivating space that harmoniously combines the best of both worlds.
Arches, a key feature of Armenian architecture, were incorporated in a contemporary way to add a touch of tradition. The main arch wall divides the bungalow space, creating separate areas for different activities. Inner yards with modern pool designs offer a refreshing twist on traditional concepts.
To enhance the design further, we introduced mirrored arches as functional seating areas, adding both practicality and visual interest. Vertical walls serve as guideposts, effortlessly directing people through the space and ensuring a smooth flow.
Sustainability played a vital role in our approach. We minimized the buildings’ footprint to preserve the natural landscape and utilized locally sourced materials. Solar panels were installed to harness renewable energy, and shading systems were implemented for optimal energy efficiency. Rainwater collection and thoughtful building orientation were also integrated, aligning with our commitment to sustainable practices.
By successfully blending traditional elements with modern design and embracing sustainable principles, we have created a project that not only celebrates cultural heritage but also embraces a future-oriented mindset.
